Solo Exhibition: Ocean Noir
The city of Encinitas Visual Art Program includes art exhibitions by local and regional artists at three civic art spaces: Encinitas Community Center, Encinitas Library, and City Hall.
The exhibitions are a service to local artists, providing economic benefit from the sale of art and exposure to a wider audience while beautifying public buildings in Encinitas. The Civic Arts Program, established in 1998, serves artists, arts organizations, and the community through programs in the visual and performing arts, and is overseen by the Cultural Arts Division and Commission for the Arts.
The Ocean Noir series will be featured at Encinitas City Hall, with an artist talk on Art Night, Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 6:00pm.

From the Studio Door Website:
The Studio Door is dedicated to intentional efforts in fostering diversity and amplifying unique voices, particularly those that have traditionally been unheard. Through our commitment to showcasing a broad spectrum of artists, we aim to create a dynamic and inclusive space that reflects the richness of our community. From actively seeking out underrepresented talent to curating exhibitions that highlight diverse perspectives, we strive to challenge norms and break down barriers in the art world. Our annual traditions, such as PROUD+ and "ART+ LGBT History Month," underscore our dedication to providing a platform for artists whose voices may have been marginalized in the past. By championing diversity, The Studio Door contributes to the vibrant tapestry of the San Diego art scene, ensuring that every artist, regardless of background, has the opportunity to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

10th Annual "The Crow Show"
From the Studio Door Website:
THE CROW SHOW 2024 is the celebratory 10th anniversary of the national exhibition of visual arts running March 1 - 30, 2024 produced by The Studio Door.
This exhibition had become a San Diego tradition bringing artists from across the nation to celebrate our feathered neighbor, the Crow. Having taken on mythological importance, Crows appear in all parts of the world. In folklore, they may foreshadow tragedy or usher in good news. The reality is a highly intelligent bird capable of social interactions. In recent years, the crow has become a muse to many artists. This annual exhibition seeks to represent the many faces of the Crow in reality and fantasy. Show us what the Crow means to you [Creative interpretations of all black birds, ravens and other Corvus species are acceptable].
You can review past exhibition catalogs on our website at https://thestudiodoor.com/the-crow-shows
Save the Ocean
Surfing Madonna Oceans Project in collaboration with Front Porch Gallery presents the Fourth Annual "Save the Ocean" show highlighting the beautiful ocean environment
The Last Group Show
Imagine what gallery walls might look like if every artist who wanted to could hang a piece of art? This is the essence of Bread and Salt's "The Last Group Show," spanning multiple gallery rooms in their sprawling art space and displaying art from hundreds of artists from near and far. The gallery walls will be filled to the brim with hanging works, and you'll also find sculpture, video and performance pieces. It's almost like an antidote to ultra-minimalist gallery displays, and — if not the tiniest bit overwhelming — a chance to get lost in some art.
Deeply Rooted

Joint us for an awards presentation, meet our guest juror, and more! Opening Reception is on November 4 from 1:00-3:00pm at the Imperial Beach Library Community Room.
